LilacKeys stores macros, folders, nested folders, and preferences locally in the user's browser using the Chrome Storage API.
LilacKeys temporarily checks the active text field and keyboard shortcut to identify and expand a saved snippet. This information is processed locally and is not sent to external servers.
LilacKeys does not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties. LilacKeys does not collect browsing history, authentication information, financial information, location data, or personal communications.
Users can delete their macros and folders from the extension interface. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data according to the browser's storage behavior.
